Omar was invited to choreograph the opening of the Lux Style Awards (LSA) in the 2002, the year of its inception. The LSA’s cover the fashion, film, television, and music industries of Pakistan and are known as the Emmy’s, Oscar’s and Grammy’s of Pakistan all rolled into one. Sponsored by the glamorous Lux soap brand owned by Unilever Pakistan, the LSA’s were destined to become the ultimate Awards show for the Media, Fashion and Entertainment industries in Pakistan. Omar choreographed the opening ceremony and the ‘Dur’ remix of the popular pop duo Strings. Omar’s work was well-received in Pakistan and he was invited to choreograph the entire production the following year.
