Shanaakht screened a historic film that was made in Pakistan's first decade, Ishq-e-Laila, which managed to fill the auditorium to capacity, countering the cynical refrain that an audience for film does not exist in Pakistan. In addition, cinema posters primarily from the sixties and seventies were exhibited, showing the younger generations a vast body of Pakistan's identity through the cinema lens.
