Sheema Kirmani and her troupe "Tehrik-e-Niswan" presented a brilliant production of the play "Jinnay Lahore Nahin Vaikhea", (He who hasn't seen Lahore hasn't lived). Set in the period just after partition, the play follows a muslim family that migrates from India and receives an elegant home in Lahore as "evacuee property". The play highlights social, economic and communal upheaval as themes that remain frightfully relevant to us today. The excellent production received standing ovations.
