Grey Skies
The days leading up to the festival were ominous. Dark monsoon clouds filled the sky. On the eve of the start of the festival, it poured. We managed to drain the Arts Council campus of water on August 11th, although the streets of Karachi were waterlogged. Thousands of Karachi-ites braved the inclement weather to attend CAP's Shanaakht Festival.
